They made a new map for the housing area [Payon - outside the archer village], and it was accessable through an NPC in the main town, or by walking from Payon. To make sure people who didn't pay for a home didn't go and use other peoples' houses, they had a "butler" NPC that required a password to enter the house - one for the home owner, and there was another that the owner would set for guests.

| A quick head's up for you on the housing map: Something we ran into on CocoaRO was the warp portal glitching [you could warp in via the NPC in Prontera or walk into the map from the Archer Village, but the exit portal on the homes map did not work, and since @warp was disabled on the map to prevent users from warping into the houses, you would be stuck unless you had a butterfly wing, were an Acolyte class with warp portal, or had a GM recall you]
